PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Protecting your installation will safeguard your investment, increase your comfort level, and contribute to cost efficiency. Maintenance of HVAC equipment has a direct impact on energy and comfort, as it must always be in optimal operating condition.
The correct Service Plan should be promoted and targeted accordingly to guarantee proactive maintenance. It protects all installed equipment, reducing the risk of energy losses and even failures.
A Service Plan is an “all-in-one” solution that combines knowledge of highly specialised service technicians, who use only Daikin Parts, delivered through the dedicated Daikin Parts Centre and various levels of coverage to assure maximum comfort at minimum Life Cycle Cost.

BENEFITS
1. Focus on Total Life Cycle Costs (LCC)
The focus should not be on the plan's isolated cost, but on the total LCC. For example, poor maintenance can lead to increased energy costs. Since energy costs make up a significant portion of the total cost of ownership, we must prioritise keeping them as low as possible.
2. Maintenance Costs Can Be Forecasted: Budget Control
With a Service Plan, maintenance becomes a fixed operational cost with no surprises. Highly skilled Daikin service technicians ensure reliability by performing all necessary interventions using only approved Daikin parts. This results in professional, timely, and efficient maintenance, positively impacting the customer’s Life Cycle Costs.
3. Three Plans to Meet Every Customer's Needs
Our service plan portfolio is designed to meet every customer’s needs. The Daikin Care packages offer a comprehensive range of service plans to suit any requirement. Additionally, the complimentary Remote Monitoring feature provides immediate updates on installation progress and allows customers to oversee their HVAC system from anywhere.

SERVICE PLAN
A Service Plan is much more than just a number of maintenance visits.
Daikin offers a service organisation that is specialised and tailored to deliver the best service for Daikin products in the market. This includes factory-trained and certified engineers, world-class spare parts logistics, and a back office that ensures reliable planning, quality administration, and invoicing.

INVOICING AND PAYMENT
The contract fee is an upfront fixed value.
The quarterly or yearly fee is invoiced on the date the contract starts; however, specific deviations are possible.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Will a Service Plan be cheaper than ad-hoc service interventions?
Yes, it will. Because preventive maintenance allows us to plan ahead and avoid rushed interventions, a Service Plan is always cheaper in the long run. Our specialists will come prepared, thus avoiding repeated visits and extra interruptions for the customer.
2. I have X years of warranty on my equipment. Why should I consider a Daikin Service Plan from the start-up date?
Warranty coverage and Maintenance Plans go hand in hand, but they are not the same. It is critical to organise maintenance from the installation start-up date. Failing to do so will undoubtedly result in a drop in comfort and energy efficiency. With Daikin’s Service Plans, we aim to keep the installation’s performance optimal from the beginning and over time. By choosing a Daikin Extended Care package, coverage is extended. To extend coverage, a maintenance program is mandatory from the start.
3. Extended Care seems expensive. Where is the value?
Service Plans are designed to provide our customers with maximum comfort at a minimum total cost of ownership. Extended Care packages do just that: everything is included, meaning Daikin ensures that the unit is always running in optimal conditions. If a breakdown occurs, the necessary interventions are covered. Daikin products are designed to keep energy costs as low as possible. By ensuring optimal installation performance, energy requirements will remain efficient throughout the entire period, providing the lowest lifecycle costs possible. An added advantage is that the lifetime of the installation is maximised.
