3 Year Standard warranty

Our products are designed and built to the highest quality, but in the rare case that something should go wrong, we've got you covered. All our residential customers receive a 3-year guarantee on their products as standard. Some installers are supported by Daikin with up to 5 years.

Installation Dependent

Daikin products require installation by a professional for safety and warranty purposes. We therefore recommend that a certified installer is used for installation. These installers uphold a standard 3 year warranty on factory components.

Additional warranty

Certain of our customers are supported by Daikin with an additional 2-year warranty, making the total warranty 5 years on manufacture components. These companies are especially trained and can easily support a 5 year warranty.

How do I claim Daikin warranty?

If you are an end user, and have a Daikin product in your home, warranty claims can only be done through whomever installed the product. Daikin cannot process warranty claims directly with end user customers, only those who have an account with us.

Daikin offers our resellers a standard warranty on all its Split Airconditioner of up to 5 years on parts. This is dependant on correct installation of the aircon system.

Yes. Today, end users can get up to a 10-year extended warranty (including the standard warranty period) with Daikin. There are several criteria to be considered, please refer to the following FAQs:

As an end-user, you can get an extended warranty from Daikin once your unit is put into operation and is registered on our stand by me platform. You have 1 year the time to register your unit and purchase your extended warranty. Be aware: an extended warranty is only valid when you do your yearly maintenance and upload proof of this (e.g. invoice installer) in the platform.

Yearly maintenance is obligatory and is part of the service package*.

*In order to maintain Daikin quality, our extended warranty will always be part of a maintenance service package. Please consult your local Daikin contact for further information.

You can buy an extended warranty from the moment your unit is commissioned and you have registered your unit on our Stand By me platform.

If you register the unit on the Stand By Me platform within 90 days after installation, you can get a free-of-charge extension for 1 year.
