Terms & Conditions Apply - Cool or Con Competition

1. Promoter

This competition is run by Daikin South Africa (Pty) Ltd, hereafter referred to as “Daikin”.

2. Competition Period

The competition runs from 14 November 2025 to 14 February 2026, with a new prize released every second week (fortnightly) during this period.

3. Prize Details

• Each fortnightly winner will receive one (1) Daikin Sensira 12000 BTU Airconditioner, valued at R14,500.
• Installation is not included.
• The unit includes a partial BluChem treatment.
• Delivery will be made to an accredited Daikin dealer chosen by the winner, provided the dealer is located within South Africa.

4. Entry Mechanics

• A new challenge will be posted every two weeks on Daikin South Africa’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
• Each challenge will involve identifying the incorrect answer from a set of options.
• To enter, participants must:
  • Comment the incorrect answer on the relevant social media post.
  • Be following Daikin South Africa on either Facebook or Instagram at the time of the draw.
• Only one entry per person per release is allowed.
• A maximum of one prize per valid South African ID may be awarded during the full competition period.

5. Eligibility

• Open to South African residents aged 18 and older with a valid South African ID.
• The competition is not open to:
  • Employees of Daikin South Africa.
  • Employees of Daikin customers or suppliers.
  • Immediate family members of the above.

6. Winner Selection and Announcement

• Winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries that correctly identify the incorrect answer.
• Announcements will take place 3 working days after the bi-weekly competition cycle closes.
• Winners will be announced via:
  • Daikin South Africa’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
  • The Daikin Newsletter, sent to subscribers.

7. Prize Delivery

• Prizes will be delivered to the accredited Daikin dealer selected by the winner.
• Delivery is subject to the dealer being located within South Africa.

8. General

• Daikin reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of winners.
• Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
• Daikin reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
