Launch 3 phase R-410A RZQ

Daikin Europe has broadened the scope of its R-410A RZQ Sky Air Super Inverter range with the introduction of its new ‘B’ series 3 phase.
Available in sizes 100, 125 and 140 (10 to 14kW cooling and 11.25 to 16kW heating) the 3 phase RZQ outdoor unit is designed to suit large commercial air conditioning installations. Ambient temperature operating is -15 to 50 CDB (cooling) and - 20 to 15.5 CWB (heating).
Based around Daikin’s well proven reluctance DC compressor motor technology, the RZQ delivers high energy efficiency, particularly in the ‘mid’ to ‘low’ settings, minimising annual electricity consumption and costs. The use of powerful neodymium magnets in this motor maximises torque and enables higher power output to electrical input ratios to be generated.
Optimisation of the DC inverter sine wave curve smoothes out motor rotation and improves motor efficiency, whilst the additional use of the industry’s first DC fan motor also provides far greater operating efficiency than AC types. Energy saving potential is further enhanced by the incorporation of a current sensor, which minimises the difference between actual and pre defined power consumption.
Operating sound, among the lowest for units of this type and size, is 49 to 52dBA (3 phase) although the useful facility of a night time function however, allows these figures to be reduced by a further 4 to 5dBA. Low sound levels also stem from the use of a specially designed high efficiency ‘aero spiral’ fan with backward curved blade tips that reduce air turbulence and pressure loss. The smooth bell mouth air inlet, fitted with guide vanes at the intake, also reduces air turbulence around the blades.
User comfort is ensured by the application of combined I-demand and ‘predicted mean value’ (PMV) control. Use of the special optional I-demand kit limits power input and enables reductions in operating sound to be achieved via remote control. PMV control addresses the phenomenon whereby an occupant can feel hot in summer and cold in winter at exactly the same room temperature. PMV control senses outdoor temperature, as well as occupant and radiated heat levels and then sets and maintains room temperature at the most comfortable level.
The RZQ Super Inverter is supported by a full range of Daikin indoor units in 950 x 950 and 600 x 600 cassette, ceiling ducted, large duct ceiling suspended, ceiling suspended cassette and wall mounted and indoor fan coil configurations, for use as pairs, twin, triple or double twin combinations.
