Daikin Airconditioning Belgium will be present at Batibouw 2006 showcasing a range of solutions to cool, heat and purify the air.
47th edition of Brussels fair most innovative ever
From 2-12 March 2006, 1,000 exhibitors will host 350,000 visitors including 70,000 trade professionals at the 47th edition of the Batibouw international building, renovation and interior finishing fair. Batibouw innovations this year include a more user-friendly allocation of the more than 130,000 m² of space spread across 13 halls; a media lounge to relax, review professional journals and search for housing opportunities on-line; and advanced on-line ticketing at a reduced price.
Cooling, humidification, air purification …
Daikin Airconditioning Belgium will be present at its usual place (Hall12, Stand 413). On display will be a range of solutions to cool, heat and purify the air. The unique Ururu Sarara – a combination air conditioner and humidifier – will be on display with its ingenious uniform distribution of purified and cooled air and its built-in photocatalytic filter that removes odours.
The new MC707 air purifier will also be present. This improved unit with an 8-layer filtering mechanism removes 99.6% of all allergens, 99.99% of all bacteria and 95% of all odours. Suitable to rooms up 48m² and whisper quiet!

Other hot Daikin applications on display include heat pump versions of air conditioning units. These turn an air conditioning system into an efficient source of heat with low CO² emissions. Benefits include ultra-fast warm-up times, high efficiency and the ability to be easily combined with other heating systems.
The designer, wall-mount UX1 will also be at Batibouw. This extremely compact and contemporary looking unit cools and heats very efficiently, and includes numerous features such as ultra-quiet operation, automatic activation when the room is occupied, and a titanium apatite photocatalytic filter that kills bacteria and removes odours. The unit is also available in a multisplit format with a single outdoor unit feeding multiple indoor units.
Last but not least, Daikin’s wine cellar solution will be showcased. This super-quiet system guarantees a fixed temperature of 14º for wine or cold storage areas using the latest in energy-efficient technology.
